Biography

I am currently a 5th-year Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, under the supervision of Prof. Honglak Lee. My research interest lies in deep reinforcement learning (RL), especially solving the hard-exploration problems and balancing the exploitation and exploration in difficult domains. I also have a broad interest in representation learning to improve sample efficiency and performance of RL algorithms. Besides, I am passionate about applying research findings in real-world problems, such as recommender systems and robotics-related tasks.
